On the morning of last Friday (20/06/2025), a Brazilian delegation visited the headquarters of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta. The headquarters is located at the historic Piazza Cavalieri di Malta, in Rome.

The visit is part of the Official Mission for the Jubilee of Rulers at the Vatican. The delegation included:

🔹 Federal Deputy Luiz Carlos Jorge Hauly and Maria Celia de Oliveira Hauly

🔹 Silvia Fagnani – Mission Coordinator

His Excellency Ambassador Stefano Ronca received the delegation. He represents the Order of Malta to the Italian Republic. Other diplomats from the Embassy also participated in the meeting.

The meeting included a guided tour of the historic Magistral Villa. It represented an important opportunity to strengthen ties between Brazil and the Order of Malta. It focused especially on topics of common interest to both institutions.

This visit is part of the official agenda of the Catholic Parliamentary Front during the Jubilee of Rulers. It demonstrates Brazil’s commitment to inter-religious dialogue and international cooperation.
