The new Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Federative Republic of Brazil Franz Graf von Schönborn-Wiesentheid presented his credentials to the President of the Republic Jair Messias Bolsonaro on 29 August 2022.
This strategic meeting brought together representatives from Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Entities such as UNESCO, Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the European Commission and ANPD also participated.
We celebrate the friendship and cooperation between the Order of Malta and Canada. The occasion held special significance since our Grand Master is Canadian, further strengthening the ties between the Order and Canada.
Today, a Brazilian delegation visited the headquarters of our Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta. The headquarters is located at the historic Piazza Cavalieri di Malta, in Rome.
